ABOUT MIDDLEBURY

The Middlebury Field Hockey Team has enjoyed tremendous success recently, including seven NCAA Championships in the past eight seasons. Overall, the Panthers have won nine NCAA titles in 20 tournament appearances. The Middlebury became the first program to win four-straight national titles (2021), won a fifth-straight crown in 2022, and claimed its seventh-consecutive crown in 2024.


The Panthers have won 10 NESCAC Championships including six-straight titles from 2017-2023, taking part in the conference’s title game 15 times. The team has produced 55 All-Americans since 1991.


Katharine DeLorenzo has been the head coach of Middlebury Field Hockey since 2001 where she has lead the team to 9 NCAA Champtionships and 10 NESCAC Titles.

Athletic Career

 

  • All-American field hockey and lacrosse player
  • 2013 Goucher College Athlete Hall of Fame Inductee 

Jackie Mountford joined the field hocket staff as an assistant coach in the summer of 2023. She was previously an assistant field hockey coach with Summit Field Hockey Club and was a four-year letter winning for the Connecicut College Field Hockey team.
